There is no other place like this on earth! Literally! Freddy and Carol Osler (former World Champions on the Flying Trapeze) have developed an airbag landing system that allows for all manner of exciting activities right here at Action World, which hitherto could only be performed by wearing a safety harness.
This includes Flying Trapeze as high as the professionals use; a High Wire at 4 metres; Tarzan Swings where you swing from trapeze-to-trapeze; a Jousting Pole where you try and knock your friends off a padded pole 3 metres above the ground; an 8.5m Climbing Wall without a harness and even an X-treme Slide 10m high which catapults you off a ramp at high speed sending you flying horizontally for 5 metres over a 2m drop before landing! Not forgetting about the 30m water slide of course!
So, if you’ve ever fancied yourself as a flying trapeze artist, Action World is the only place in the world where you can do it without a safety harness but still in perfect safety!

Action World is now open for the season from 10am-5pm on weekends and school holidays and 11am-4pm on weekdays outside of school holidays. We operate under most weather conditions except in very high winds or continual rain – in other words horrible! Showers don’t bother us if they don’t bother you |

No question – if you’re looking for entertainment in Paihia which includes activities for the whole family – then visit us for a day of fun-filled excitement! There is a large tent to sit under to watch the activities, drinks and snacks are available from vending machines or bring the esky and cook for the family with free BBQs for your use. Or mom and dad can suntan by the duck pond while the kids spend hours exhausting themselves.
Action World it is the place to be for serious playful fun!
